(1994)"Almost Unreal" is a song performed by Swedish pop duo Roxette. The song featured on the soundtrack to the Super Mario Brothers soundtrack and was released as a single in 1993. It was written by Per Gessle.

"Almost Unreal" was a hit in many European countries, peaking at #7 on the UK Singles Chart, and also made the Top 20 in Australia. However, it only reached #94 in the US and became the duo's penultimate single to make the US Top 100 to date.

The song's inclusion on the Super Mario Bros. sound track angered Gessle [Liner notes to Roxette's Greatest Hits] as it was originally written for the Bette Midler film "Hocus Pocus", but was never used.
