"Teenage Caveman" is a 2002 film directed by controversial filmmaker Larry Clark. It was made as part of a series of low-budget made-for-television movies loosely inspired by b-movies that Samuel Z. Arkoff had produced for AIP.
Plot
The film is set in a post-apocalyptic future, where the vast majority of humanity has died, not due to a nuclear war, but rather due to a viral epidemic, with the remaining humans reverting to primitive tribalism. When a group of teenagers are banished from their tribe, they stumble upon a solar-powered city, whose two inhabitants have been genetically modified to survive the plague, turning them into superhuman mutants who intend to recreate humanity in their own image.
Details
Six teens meet two older people. The boy is a genetically altered human so he is super human stength and immortality. Him and his mate have sex with the other teens. The girls explode and have the superhuman babies, while the boys gain the powers along with an excrucatingly large amount of pain. The original inhuman boy kills the boys and his mate except for one who gains these powers as well. The original mutant and the boy and his girlfriend kill the original and rescue the other surviving humans while rebuilding civilization.(They're immortal so the kids dont inbreed)
