List of airports in the Netherlands

This is a list of airports the Netherlands, grouped by type and sorted by location.

The largest airport by far is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, which is actually one of the largest of Europe. Smaller airports with scheduled passenger service are Rotterdam Airport (formerly known as Zestienhoven), Groningen Airport Eelde, Eindhoven Airport and Maastricht Aachen Airport. Soesterberg and Twente are slated for closure by the military, though Twente may remain as a civilian airport if it can be operated profitably and Soesterberg will remain usable as a glider field.

Where available, the ICAO location identifiers are linked to the airport's Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), which are available online from [http://www.ais-netherlands.nl/ AIS the Netherlands] .

Airports in this list shown in bold have scheduled services operated to and from them by commercial airlines.

Rarely used helipads without an ICAO indicator, offshore oilrigs and small glider fields are not included in this list. Medical helipads have been assigned the identification codes EH0001 to EH0030 by the Dutch authorities, but these are not official ICAO indicators and thus these helipads are not included in this list. The Maasvlakte and IJmuiden helipads are restricted to maritime piloting services and are not connected to the AFTN network.
