Tyler Independent School District high school campuses in the city ofTyler, Texas .John Tyler High School is also a member of TISD.Lee High School has served the East Texas community since it opened in 1958. The mascot is the Red Raider. Lee is a 5A School, which is the largest classification in Texas.

Robert E. Lee offers a variety of courses in Pre-AP, as well as AP levels. Also since 2008 Lee has added the IB program for freshmen to join.
Athletics
Robert E. Lee High School won a state championship in football in 2004, winning the Texas 5A Division I Championship in football by defeating Spring Westfield 28-21. Since then their football team has not been winning very many games.
