- Savannah River Winds
The Savannah River Winds (SRW) is a semi-professional
wind ensemble conducted by Richard Brasco and Lou Cefus.SRW is based in the central Savannah River area of Georgia and
South Carolina , which includes the cities of Augusta and Aiken.Membership in SRW is through audition. Its members include college music professors, middle and secondary school band directors, and active and former
military band members.The Savannah River Winds maintain a regular concert schedule including a Veteran's Day concert and the Hopeland Gardens,
Aiken, SC , concert series. The group also performs for regional and state conferences and band festivals.In June 2005, SRW created their first recording, Legend of the Sword: the music of David Shaffer.

Evans, Georgia to kick off the 2008 [http://www.gmea.org/ Georgia Music Educators Association] District X Band Clinic. The varied selections presented included two marches plus "Procession of the Nobles" byRimsky-Korsakov . In addition, [http://www.robertsheldonmusic.com/ Robert Sheldon] was guest conductor of the 60-piece band in the performance of his original 1997 composition, " [http://www.robertsheldonmusic.com/compositions.htm Cape Fear Chronicles] ."
