Ferguson Enterprises Inc., headquartered in Newport News, Virginia is the country's largest wholesale distributor of plumbing supplies; pipes, valves and fittings; heating and cooling equipment (HVAC); waterworks; mechanical and industrial; bathrooms and appliances; tools and safety equipment; and fire protection products. History

Ferguson was founded in 1953 by Charlie Ferguson, Ralph Lenz and Johnny Smithers. In 1982 Ferguson Enterprises Inc. was acquired by the British company Wolseley plc but retained its name of Ferguson Enterprises. Today, Ferguson employees upwards of 22,000 associates and has around 1400 locations in the 50 states as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Their Chief Executive Officer is John Stegeman. Branch Structures

Branches across the country are associated with a warehouse. Most warehouses have a traditional counter. These locations have self service capability and are primarily used by contractors. Ferguson Fire & Fabrication is a subsidiary of Ferguson Enterprises.
