Geography
Malhoo is situated six kilometres north of Kamra from Rawalpindi Pishawar GT Road and six kilometres south of the Indus River. It is bordered on the north by Daman, on the east by Hameed, on the west by Kamalpur Musa, on the south by Shamsabad, and on the south-east by Saman and green fields.
Population
The village was founded in 1785 when Malhoo Khan settled in the area from Kohat. The majority of people are Pathan and belong to the Bangash tribe. 30% of the people live in foreign countries (USA, UK, Hong Kong and Middle East), 20% are government employees, 35% work in agriculture, 10% have their own business. The literacy rate is 70%.

- One Technical Training Institute for men, teaching vocational skills for electricians, plumbers, auto mechanics, computing and refrigeration/air conditioning.
- One Vocational Training Institute for women, teaching sewing, knitting, embroidery, cooking, baking, painting and computing.
- Six Mosques and one Madrasa, Jawahir ul Quran.
NGO
- Attock Education Trust: initially registered as "Gen. Jahandad Khan Education Trust", but later renamed "Attock Education Trust". Started with the purpose of promoting literacy and job opportunities through vocational institutes.

- Two private clinics serving in medical care.
- A bodybuilding gym for youngsters.
- "Janga Dhary", a historic palace.
Notable people
- Lt Gen Jahandad Khan, born in Malhoo in 1929, died 2011, chairman of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society, president of the Al-Shifa Eye Trust, founded many eye hospitals and won awards for his national and international humanitarian work to prevent blindness.[1][2]
