Chico's 391-bed non-profit Enloe Medical Center offers the North Valley a full continuum of health services ranging from preventative education and outpatient services to acute care, behavioral health, inpatient rehabilitation and home health and hospice services. Serving more than 400,000 residents in a six-county region in Northern California, provideding quality, compassionate, cost-effective care.

Enloe Health Care System also operates emergency ground and air transport services. With seven advanced life support (ALS) ground units, 2 non-urgent wheelchair vans and Enloe Flight Care ALS / CCT helicopter. Providing ground services to Butte, Glenn, Colusa, and Tehama Counties.

Butte County
Enloe Health System provides two 24 hour ALS Ambulances in Butte County, CA. During a normal day the City of Chico, Ca and surrounding areas are covered by First Responder and Enloe Emergency Services. The town is split into North and South using Chico Creek as the center of the zone. The two ambulance services swap coverage every day. Unless a rig is out of service the general assignments are as follows;

EM 60 and EM-61 are 24 hour 911 ALS Ambulances.EM 58 and EM-55 are day ambulances that provide 12 hour ALS non emergent code two transports and rotates in the 911 system as needed.

EM 54, 57 are 911 ready and preserved as fully stocked back-ups

EM 53 is a reserved for baratric pt's.
