- Terry Slater
Canon Doctor Terry Slater is a reader in
Historical Geography at theUniversity of Birmingham ,UK and also lectures. Born in Bromley but raised in Charlton he was educated atHull University ,University College, London and the University of Birmingham.He got his first lecturing job at Birmingham in 1972 where he still works. Over the years he has, in his free time, devoted a lot of time to the churches of
Birmingham . This led to him being made first of all a lay preacher and then a Canon in 2005.Research Interests
