Andes Yue

Andes Yue (Chinese name: 余宜發) was born on February 6th. He is a radio DJ and TV presenter in Hong Kong and is nicknamed 發仔 (pronounced faat jai in Cantonese). He went to Centennial College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is currently a radio personality for the Hong Kong radio station CRHK (Commercial Radio Hong Kong). He has been at CRHK since the mid to late 1990s. He hosts CRHK's overnight program, "Begin With Music" (一切從音樂開始) from Monday to Friday, but also has his own Sunday morning program on CR1 (881) called "Fat's Breakfast" (發式早餐). On television, he hosts a music show on TVB's Music Channel, "型人型樂館 (內容簡介)", however, it is only available on cable channels in Hong Kong.

Aside from his duties in radio, Andes does appearances at malls for special events and charities within Hong Kong.

His favorite song is What's Love Got To Do With It by Tina Turner, likes collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, and enjoys wearing Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister Co. clothing. His favorite English TV show was Friends and occasionally watches the usual Hong Kong dramas and Cantonese dubbed Japanese dramas and Korean dramas (like Dae Jang Geum - 대장금 or in Chinese, 大長今).

He has interviewed Cantopop and Mandopop singers like Dave Wong (王傑), Faye Wong (王菲), Leon Lai (黎明), Andy Lau (劉德華), Sandy Lam (林憶蓮), Eason Chan (陳奕迅), Stephanie Cheng (鄭融), Joey Yung (容祖兒), the late Leslie Cheung (張國榮), Lee-Hom Wang (王力宏), Stephy Tang (鄧麗欣), Alex Fong (方力申), Janice Vidal (衛蘭), S.H.E, Twins, 2R, Vanness Wu (吳建豪) and Kangta (강타) and a few more to name. His interviews are usually aired during CRHK's Begin With Music (一切從音樂開始) usually on late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

Begin With Music/一切從音樂開始

:"Main articles: 一切從音樂開始"Andes has been on the overnight program since December 2005. The program is aired from 2-6am in Hong Kong on CRHK's CR2 (903) and then 3-6am on CR1 (881). What he does during the program is where he brings a topic or theme from the music he plays and on another day, he airs an interview with the singers in Hong Kong and Taiwan.During "Begin With Music" (一切從音樂開始), Andes welcomes listeners from Hong Kong (香港), and even overseas, to become a part of his family, "Fat's Family" (發仔大家庭).
Other hosts for Begin With Music when Andes is not on are Carrie (李慧雅) and Jessie (from CR2 903).
