Vancouver International Burlesque Festival

The Vancouver International Burlesque Festival is an annual event taking place over three days and featuring dancers, comedians and musicians. The festival debuted in February 2006 with the third scheduled for April 24th to May 4th 2008.

2008's festival was a 10 day event featuring many performers, tons of shows, and workshops. The final event being The Red Carpet Gala in which performers took to an actual red carpet before hitting the stage. Hilarious awards were presented such as 'Most Likely To Confuse An Audience' and 'Most Likely To Be High'. A few serious awards were given to those who made outstanding contributions to the festival.
