Yousef Saif

Yousef Saif is a very well known and highly respected football commentator in the Arab world. He first gained recognition while working for Orbit Espn. Soon after he moved on to the Qatar-based Al Jazeera Sports channel which was established in late 2003. His distinct voice can still be heard today commentating on football's biggest events. He has done commentary for matches as big as Barcelona vs. Real Madrid and several matches at the 2004 European Football Championship in Portugal. Although he is a big fan of Real Madrid, Yousef Saif commentates on matches for FC Barcelona as well. He is known for his large background of footabll statistics, as well as his good eye for catching fouls. He regularly anticipates the next substitutions or tactical changes made the teams coaches.
