* He and his brother,Johann Sebastian Bach , moved in with their older brother Johann Christoph Bach, organist atOhrdruf , when his father,Johann Ambrosius Bach , died. [1]
* In 1704, left to beoboist in the army of KingCharles XII ofSweden , which possibly inspired Johann Sebastian to write a "Capriccio on the Absence of His Most Beloved Brother." [1a] [2]
