Since January 1, 2007, the company Pivovary Topvar, a.s. has operated in Slovakia, which is the combination of the existing breweries Pivovar Šariš, a.s, and Topvar, a.s. SABMiller, one of the world’s leading brewers, owns 100% of the shares of Pivovary Topvar, a. s..Šariš Brewery was founded in
1964 . The first litres of Šarišbeer were brewed onMay 26 ,1967 .Products
* "Šariš 12% Premium" - this brand is a premium beer produced from light malt by two-phase fermentation, with a subsequent long refermentation at low temperatures. This brand of beer is the pride of the Šariš Brewery, a guarantee of real quality awarded in Monde Selection world quality contest in Brussels by 3 gold medals.
* "Šariš 11% Tmavý" - this dark beer is increasingly popular. It is excellent when served with meals. This beer is brewed from four kinds of special malt and from the best hops.
