Baron Cloncurry

Baron Cloncurry was a title in the Peerage of Ireland and in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. On 29 December 1789, Sir Nicholas Lawless, Bt. was created Baron Cloncurry in the Peerage of Ireland. He had been created a baronet, of Abington, Ireland on 6 August 1776 in the Baronetage of Ireland. The 2nd Baron was created Baron Cloncurry in the Peerage of the United Kingdom on 14 September 1831. On the death of the 5th Baron on 18 July 1929, both titles and the baronetcy became extinct.
