Terlingua Common School District is a public school district based in the community of Study Butte-Terlingua in unincorporated Brewster County, Texas (USA).
The district, which also serves Lajitas, has two campuses - Big Bend High (Grades 9-12) and Terlingua Elementary (Grades PK-8).
Big Bend High School takes high schoolers within the San Vicente Independent School District, which serves residents from K through 8.
As of 2007, the Texas State Energy Conservation Office awards Terlingua ISD money due to the colonias served by the district [http://www.seco.cpa.state.tx.us/colonias.htm] .
