Dievdirbiai (literally, "god carvers") are
Lithuania n wood carvers who create statues ofJesus and theChristian saints . linden wood, or occasionallyoak , and sometimes painted. Along with three-dimensional sculptures, relief andbas-relief were also cultivated.
