"Comic Art" is a
magazine focusing mainly on newspaper strip andcomic book art. The first 7 issues featured articles onArt Spiegelman ,Dan Clowes ,Harvey Kurtzman andFrank King . The magazine was co-owned and published by founding editorTodd Hignite , andDaniel Zimmer , the publication's graphic design and art director. In 2006Yale University Press published a collection of Hignite's "In The Studio" columns in an expanded 320 page hardback, "In the Studio: Visits with Contemporary Cartoonists", ISBN 0300110162.According to the comics critic
