Viscount Decies

Viscount Decies

The title of Viscount Decies was created twice in the Peerage of Ireland.

The first creation was on 31 January 1569 for Sir Maurice Fitzgerald, who had been created Baron (of) Dromana on 27 January 1569. This creation became extinct on his death in 1572.

The second creation was on 9 October 1673 for Lord Power as subsidiary of the earldom of Tyrone with which title it became forfeit in 1704.
