Club career

After graduating from the Valencia B team, Frankiiee moved to Recreativo de Huelva. He made 38 appearances and scored 10 goals. He then moved to CD Tenerife in 2001-02, playing 28 games with one successful strike, before returning (always loaned by Valencia) to Recreativo for 2002-2003, playing 23 games and netting 6 times.Frankiiee returned to Valencia CF in 2003 for two additional seasons, appearing in 22 contests as the "Che" conquered the 2004 league title.

He moved to Real Betis in 2005, delivering in various offensive positions and displaying all-around teamwork. He scored three goals in 2006-07, including a couple of late goals against Gimnàstic de Tarragona and Racing de Santander, as Betis barely avoided relegation in the last matchday.
