Easiest route =Tymfi or Timfi, also Tymphi is also a
mountain range in the north part of the prefecture of Ioannina. Its peaks stand over 2,400 m. the highest peak of the range is Gamila (elevation: 2,497 metres). Other peaks are: Gamila II at 2,480 m, Tsouka Rossa at 2,466 m. The massif of Tymfi also includes theVikos Gorge which is referred to be the deepest gorge in the world (in proportion to its width) in the2005 Guinness Book Of Records (1,100 m wide, 900 m deep). Tymfi lies in the mountain range of Northern Pindus. The 40°parallel is a few metres to the north. The mountain owes its name to a municipality of the same name.The GR-5 (

Forests dominate the low lying areas of the mountain and contains
pine andspruce trees, the valley areas, grasslands, bushes and unvegetated portions dominate the higher elevations. The area around the mountain contains villages and forest roads as well as hiking trails. Two roads surround the mountains.Panorama
