Ammerswil is a municipality in the district of Lenzburg in canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It is located 3 km southeast of the town of Lenzburg.

Population

As of 2005, it had a population 642, 7.2% of whom were foreigners. At the time of the 2000 census, 59.6% were Protestants, 26.4% were Catholics, and 1% belonged to other faiths. 96.6% listed German as their main language, 1.6% listed Italian.
