Gildo Insfrán (born 1951) is an Argentine Justicialist Party (PJ) politician, current governor of Formosa Province.

Insfrán, a veterinarian, became a provincial legislator in 1983. In 1987, he became vice-governor of Formosa under Governor Vicente Joga, serving for two terms.

Insfrán replaced Joga and became Governor of Formosa in 1995, with former governor Floro Bogado as his own vice-governor. He subsequently fell out with Joga, who has pursued his bid to be re-elected to the Supreme Court of Argentina, appealing against the changes in Formosa's laws allowing Insfrán to be re-elected indefinitely. Insfrán was re-elected in 1999, 2003 and again in 2007. Having been close to former President Carlos Menem, Insfrán is now close to former President Néstor Kirchner, who defeated Menem in 2003 and is currently the leader of the Justicialist Party.

Insfrán is divorced, was married to Teresa Baldús and has two daughters. Their 17-year-old son committed suicide in 2003.cite web
