Plot

The story takes place during the pre-Independence era, just before the British left India. Chandram (Venkatesh) christens himself as Subhash Chandra Bose, and forms his guerilla army, which revolts against the British Raj. One of amongst the crusaders Venkat Ratnam (Prakash Raj) sells himself to the British and leaks the army’s secret plans with a hope of being awarded a respectable post. Bose, his army men and his ladylove Svarajyam (Shriya Saran) get killed in the process. Before his death, Bose warns Ratnam that he would be reborn some day and would make sure that people like him do not rule the country. 57 years after Independence, Venkat Ratnam proclaims to be a freedom fighter who helped the nation and is contesting the elections to become the Prime Minister. At the same time Bose is reborn as Ashok, who works in a TV channel called TV24. Out of the blue, he realizes that he is the reincarnation of the Bose himself and is on a mission to stop Venkat Ratnam ruling the country. How he carries out his mission, forms the story.
