Bay United is a South African football (soccer) club based in the city of Port Elizabeth that plays in the Premier Soccer League.

In 2006, the franchise of struggling National First Division club Maritzburg United was purchased by Volkswagen South Africa and relocated to the Mandela Metro. After the 2006-07 season Sipho Pityana, purchased the club from VWSA.
