Tantō, Hyōgo

Tantō, Hyōgo

was a town located in the former Izushi District, Hyōgo, Japan. On April 1, 2005 the town merged with four other towns into the expanded city of Toyooka, Hyōgo and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 5,522 and a density of 34.09 persons per km². The total area was 161.96 km².
