K25AL is a low-power Class A television station serving Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It broadcasts in analog on UHF channel 25 as a Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) affiliate and is owned by Lake Havasu Christian Television of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The station's transmitter is located near downtown Lake Havasu City.

On February 19, 2009, which is the end of the digital TV conversion period for full-service stations, K25AL will be required to turn off its analog signal and turn on its digital signal (called a "flash-cut").

History

An original construction permit for a low-power station on channel 25 was issued on July 10, 1984 to Lake Havasu Christian Television. The station was licensed on October 1, 1985 and upgraded its license to Class A on September 10, 2001.

Programming

K25AL broadcasts the entire TBN schedule. Although Class A licensees are generally required to broadcast a minimum of three hours per week of locally-produced programming, there is no evidence that K25AL does so.
