The Tales of Robin Hood

The Tales of Robin Hood

The Tales of Robin Hood is an indoor visitor attraction and medieval banqueting centre based on the Nottinghamshire legend of Robin Hood. It is located on Maid Marian Way in Nottingham, in the vicinity of Nottingham Castle.

Visitors are whisked off on a ride which takes them through a recreation of medieval Nottingham with its sights, sounds and even smells in addition to Robin Hood's hideout in medieval Sherwood Forest and the court of the Sheriff of Nottingham, Robin's arch-enemy within the brooding walls of Nottingham Castle.

Archery and brass rubbing are also on offer and a cinema show investigates the legend of Robin Hood. The centre's Great Hall offers medieval banquets as night falls every Friday and Saturday night through the year.

The British broadsheet newspaper "The Independent" has described the centre as ' "A little Disneyland" '.
