Lenggong, PerakPolitical party United Malays National Organisation Spouse(s) Kamariah Mokri Religion Islam Tan Sri Haji Mohammad Tajol Rosli bin Mohammad Ghazali[1] was the 9th Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) of the state of Perak, Malaysia. He served in tha capacity from 1999 to 2008.
Tajol gave up his position as chief of Perak Barisan Nasional chief and state Umno liaison committee to then Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on 30 January 2009. The then minister in the Prime Minister's department, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will be his deputy.[2]
Tajol received the Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSN) which carries the titles 'Tan Sri' from Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin in conjunction with His Majesty's birthday on 5 June 2010.[3]
