Early life
Geer was born and grew up in "small town-friendly" Forest City, North Carolina. As a young boy, he began playing the
piano , performing since the age of 5. At East Rutherford High School, his attentions turned totheatre and filming, which helped his decision to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to study theatre. Geer began acting in plays including: [Robin Hood] (by Don Nigro)] , The Servant of Two Masters (byTom Stoppard ), and was in The Other Sideimprov comedy troupe.
