Meicen (also Meigen) was supposedly a post-Roman petty kingdom in the then-British North of England, believed by some to have been located in the area around Doncaster in modern Yorkshire[citation needed].
Meicen is held to have been annexed to Northumbria during the reign of King Edwin in around AD 626[citation needed].
