comedian , producer, andgame show host inPuerto Rico . Marcano's career took off afterLuis Vigoreaux 's death. He started hosting "A Millon" withSonia Noemí , andRafael Jose , the #1television game show for several years.In 1987, as the host, (alongside "El Gangster") of
Super Siete 's "La Hora de Oro ". Later that year, his wedding withSandra Rivera was one of the most publicized weddings in Puerto Rican entertainment history, being shown live on Puerto Ricantelevision .Vea , ashow biz magazine, produced a "wedding album" about the event.Later years
In 1990 Marcano moved to
Telemundo to start a new showMarcano... el show . The show became so popular, it was one the highest ratedtelevision shows of those times, although it was controversial because of its copy ofthe Arsenio Hall Show . In 1996, he moved toWAPA-TV , and produced a new game show called "Vale Mas ", and in 1998, another successful show called "El Super Show ". In the year 2000, he moved again, but this time toTele-Once and continued with the latter show for a while. Later, during this year, he created "Que Suerte que es Domingo ". The latter suffered two changes in the title: "Que Suerte Tienes Tu ", and in 2002, "Que Suerte ", his longest running show that's still on air, and top in the ratings consequently, broadcast byUnivision .ee also
