Sir Bevil Grenville's Monument

Sir Bevil Grenville's Monument is a monument erected on Lansdowne Hill, Bath, to commemorate the heroism of Sir Bevil Grenville and his Cornish pikemen at the Battle of Lansdowne, 1643.

It was erected in 1720, constructed from ashlar,with a slate plate.

It is in poor condition with much erosion of the carving and significant loss of the text.
