19 December 1755 and was in thePeerage of Ireland . He was created "Earl Ludlow" and Viscount Preston on3 October 1760 . The 3rd Earl was created "Baron Ludlow" in thePeerage of the United Kingdom on10 September 1831 . On his death in 1842, all four titles became extinct.The second UK creation was for Henry Charles Lopes on
