Ken Kitashiba

Ken Kitashiba

is criminologist, psychologist, author, manga author, and commentator born in 1959 in Tokyo, Japan. His books cover topics such as affirmation of existence on Earth, and to not rely on or trust too much in gossip and other unreliable information. Kitashiba is an associate instructor at the National Police Academy in Japan. He is also the director of a nonprofit crime prevention organization endorsed by the Ministry of Justice. Kitashiba is known by various nicknames, including "Kittā," "Shibaken," and more recently "Kitashiban" due to his universal criminology work. He has begun to be known internationally by the name "Duke Kita" as a security expert.

Career

Kitashiba was born the son of a wealthy doctor. He went to England to study abroad as a high school student. While there, he became interested in the workings of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) and began studying about them. Kitashiba graduated from the Waseda University law department, worked in the general trading company, in the Metropolitan Police Department, and finished the master's course of the Waseda University graduate school. Speciality is criminal sociology. This caused him to begin thinking about a way for Japanese high school students to enter the world of 007. He then went on to graduate from the department of literature at Waseda University.
