Calaisa

Calaisa is an all female music group from Malmö, Sweden, made up of two pairs of sisters; Caisa and Lisa Troedsson and Malin and Anna Törnquist. Musically, they have been likened to a mixture of the Corrs and the Dixie Chicks. Their eponymous debut album was released in July 2006, and the same summer they supported Simply Red during his UK tour and later also supported Celine Dion on her Finland leg of the Taking Chances Tour. After trying for ten years to get widely known in Sweden, they went to Nashville and got a record contract immediately.
