Apple Hong (zh-sp|s=洪乙心|p=Hóng Yǐxīn) is an entertainer from
Kuala Lumpur ,Malaysia . Her career in show-business started when she was awarded first-runner up in the Malaysian Star Search 1999, and was then known as ‘MalaysianShu Qi ’. She joinedMediaCorp Singapore in 2000 and has since taken several roles, including several regional productions in HK, Taiwan and China.Fact|date=August 2008Apple is also a well known face in the print media industry, having appeared on multiple magazine covers in Singapore and Malaysia including HERWORLD, Citta-Bella, I-Weekly and U-Weekly. As an artist in a wide range of areas, Apple’s next venture is to release her debut music EP in Singapore and Malaysia. The EP concept consisting of 8-tracks with various musical genres including acoustic easy-listening, piano-pop tunes and also fusion of Chinese and Irish-styled songs.
