footnotes = Tabernas is a municipality of Almería province, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain, as well as the name of the principal town of the municipality. It is located on the edge of the famous Tabernas Desert, the filming location of many feature films and TV series. The three film sets in the area: Mini Hollywood, Decorados, and Rancho Leone attract a modest number of tourists. It is the site of Moorish castle ruins, an old church, and a refurbished Teatro Municipal.
