Sex On Premises Venues (SOPV) are distinctly different from
Gay Bathhouse s in that there is usually no sauna or spa and people who enter keep their clothes on.There a two distinct types of Sex On Premises Venues (SOPV). Backroom style and Club style.
The backroom style is usually attached to an adult bookshop/store and consists of small cubicals with video feeds, often with Glory Holes between the cubicals. These are also referred to as Private Viewing Rooms or Cruise Lounges.
Club style SOVPs are an entire venue of themselves and again often consists of small cubicals, usually with no bed or mattress unlike Gay Bathhouses which often have some kind of mattress in most rooms.

Other sexual activities are permitted as long as this rule is not broken. Fines can be up to $28,000 for the venue owner.
