South Bend Blue Sox

The South Bend Blue Sox were a founding team in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League . The hometown of the team was South Bend, Indiana. The Blue Sox participated in every season of the All-America Girls Professional Baseball League from 1943 to 1954. The Blue Sox first played home games at Bendix Field, but later moved to Playland Park. They won the League Playoff Championship in 1951 and 1952.
