Point Break Live!

"Point Break Live!", is an original concept and adaptation by Jaime Keeling of the 1991 Keanu Reeves/Patrick Swayze extreme sports movie "Point Break".cite web | url = http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/theater/136264_pointq.html | title = 'Point Break Live!' takes its cue from the ridiculous | work = Seattle Post-Intelligencer | accessdate = 2006-09-01] Sometimes credited as the first-ever "reality-play,"Fact|date=February 2007 each features a new, unrehearsed actor in the protagonist role of "Keanu", reading their lines from cue-cards delivered by a production assistant. This method manages to capture the rawness of a Keanu Reeves performance even from those who generally think themselves incapable of acting.

The play premiered in a sold-out 2 month run co-directed by Jaime Keeling and Jamie Hook at Seattle's Northwest Film ForumFact|date=February 2007, and has since toured throughout the country, including extended runs at the Bryant-Lake Bowl in Minneapolis [cite web | url = http://blb.ciceron.com/calendar.asp?date=1/20/2005 | title = Bryant Lake Bowl schedule for 2005-01-20 | accessdate = 2006-08-01] , and Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, New York. It previously played at Charlie O's Lounge in the Alexandria Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, [cite web | url = http://theguide.latimes.com/performing-arts/latcl-point-break-live-event | title = The Guide: Point Break Live! at Charlie O's Cocktail Lounge | accessdate = 2008-03-30] where much of the movie took place, but is now running at the Dragonfly Nightclub in Hollywood. Notable “Keanus" include: Justin Pierre from the band Motion City Soundtrack, Juli Crockett, lead singer of the Evangenitals, Jonathan Moss, lead singer of The H is O, and Brandon Bowen, conquistador of rock.

After an 11-month sold out ride in LA, Point Break LIVE! is scheduled to debut on October 1, 2008 at the V Theater/Planet Hollywood Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas.
