The album, released by Little Bright Productions, got Alison together with a number of New York studio musicians for a handful of full band dates around the city when she wasn't doing solo acoustic gigs.
"The Game" received critical acclaim around numerous blogger spots on the web, as well as national and regional radioplay.
Moving to Chicago
In 2005, Alison packed her apartment and moved to Chicago. Under the guidance of Jonny Basofin of Chicago's The Changes, Alison hooked up with session drummer
Shawn Rios to form her new band. Rios then enlisted trusted studio and session guitaristP. Griffin Baron to form the band with him. With Griffin working on other projects, Shawn asked his boyhood friend and ex-bandmateDavid Jakalski to play guitar for the band. After a handful of rehearsals, Shawn introduced Griffin to Alison at Chicago'sHideout , where she invited him to see her solo show atUncommon Ground in the Wrigleyville neighborhood. After watching Alison's set, Griffin talked to Shawn about becoming a full time member of the band. With the guitar slot already filled, Griffin agreed to play bass for the band as he "wanted as much to do musically with this band as humanly possible."Current Members of the live band
