Juha Salminen (born
September 27 ,1976 inVantaa ) is a Finnishenduro rider. He is a 12-time World Enduro Champion and has also won theInternational Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in 2000 (125cc), 2002 (400cc) and 2006 (overall and Enduro 1). In addition to his own titles, he has won the World Trophy with Team Finland in 1998, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006.After yet another successful season in 2004, Salminen wanted a new challenge and moved to the
United States to ride forKTM in theGrand National Cross Country series. He won nine of the series' 13 races and became GNCC Champion in his debut year. He was crowned both "AMAAmateur Athlete of the Year" and "GNCC Rider of the Year", chosen by fellow compettitors.
