Allison L. Blake is a character on the American science fiction drama "Eureka". She is played by Salli Richardson-Whitfield.

Description

Allison was an Agent for the Department of Defense. Previously working as a medical doctor, Allison served as a government liaison between Eureka and the Pentagon, and also oversees Eureka's main laboratories and is always present when anything goes wrong, professional or otherwise, with Allison normally being forced to bring in Jack Carter to save the day. Allison is always at the forefront of any dilemma that might arise, as she is responsible for reporting on the progress of Eureka's citizens, as well as their temperamental innovations.

On a personal level, Allison is 37 years old, and has a son; Kevin, who she is incredibly protective of due to his autism. Allison's original husband and Kevin's father died shortly before Kevin's birth.

Allison also had an off-again, on-again relationship with Nathan Stark. At one point they were married, with Allison and Nathan finding they had much in common, but their relationship broke down due to Nathan being unable to separate work from free time, though refused to divorce for a long time. When Nathan was appointed Director of Research in Warren King's place, Alliason wasn't happy to have to see and work with him again on a daily basis, though their relationship improved when Nathan finally agreed to a divorce, and they even managed to remain friends, gradually becoming more so with time. Eventually, Nathan proposes to Allison, and she accepts.

Upon Eva Thornes' arrival in Eureka, Thorne became Chairman of Global Dynamics, and appointed Allison Director of Operations, while Stark was restored to his position as Director of Research. The two were made partners to oversee Eureka's development. This partnership and their relationship came to, an apparent, tragic end on their wedding day, where Nathan apparently perished sealing a time-space anomaly.

In the season 3 episode, "From fear to Eternity" it is revealed she is pregnant with Nathan's baby.
