Roberts Blossom (born January 1, 1924) is an American actor and poet.

Bartholomew Roberts Blossom (he later dropped his first name professionally) was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He began acting on stage during the 1950s. Tall, thin, and with penetrating eyes,Fact|date=February 2008 he has portrayed authority figures and cantankerous rural types in a variety of film and TV roles. As he grew older, Blossom was often typecast as crazy old men in films such as "Home Alone" and "Christine".
