Bully Hill Vineyards

Bully Hill Vineyards is a vineyard and winery based in the U.S. state of New York.

History

Greyton H. Taylor and Walter S. Taylor established Bully Hill Farms in 1958. Walter represents the fourth generation of his family to be involved in grape growing and wine making, a family endeavor since 1878. Bully Hill was one of the first small estate wineries in the Keuka Lake area since Prohibition and became the cornerstone for the growth of many wineries in the region. Known as an innovative leader in the wine industry, Bully Hill pioneered the planting of French-American Hybrid grapes in America, and true to its maverick roots, Bully Hill continues to challenge the conventional with bold new wines and ideas. Join Bully Hill in being good stewards to "this fragile earth our island home."

Facilities and distribution

Growing from a small winery with a limited number of employees, Bully Hill Vineyards now produces over 200,000 cases of wine each year. Bully Hill features an on-site restaurant, wine shop, two gift shops and a museum. Visitors are offered tours and wine tastings throughout the year, weather permitting. Bully Hill wine is distributed in some 30 states.
