T-Mobile is the first GSM mobile operator in Macedonia. The company has been active since September 1996, when it was introduced as MobiMak before it was bought by Deutsche Telekom. In 2006 it changed its name to Т-Mobile Macedonia, synchronising itself with other T-Mobile operators.

The T-Mobile network covers 99,9% of the population and over 98,5% of the territory of Macedonia.

T-Mobile was the first telecommunications company in the country to introduce GPRS, EDGE and various converged internet and mobile services.
