The Erie School District is the school district that serves metropolitan Erie, Pennsylvania in the United States. It is a member of the Northwest Tri-County IU 5.

Serving the Erie School District are four high schools, three middle schools and fourteen elementary schools. Over 12,500 students attend the district's 21 schools. On April 19, 2007, GE Transportation Systems presented the district with a $15 million dollar donation. It is reported that this is the largest ever donation to education in Pennsylvania.
