USS Nassau

Two ships of the United States Navy have been named USS "Nassau", after the Battle of Nassau, the first action seen by the United States Navy in the American Revolution.

* The first USS|Nassau|CVE-16|3 was an escort aircraft carrier in service from 1943 to 1946.
* The second USS|Nassau|LHA-4|3 is an amphibious assault ship commissioned 1979 and on active service as of 2008.
