A son of Biscay from the Relic (USA) mare Coogee he was bred by Stanley Wootton at Widden Stud.Thought by his owner to be too small and unsound for a long racing career he was un-raced as a two-year-old and won his only start as a three-year-old at the provincial track of
Bendigo .He show cased his above average ability in his four-year-old season winning the 1975 Australian Jockey Club's The Galaxy and equalling the Flemington course record of 56.8 seconds for the straight 1000 m trip to win the
VRC Moomba Handicap.Retired to stud after only 5 starts with a record of 4 wins and 1 second he earned his owners A$28,715.
